Unofficial Festival Forum

In the very near future, we will begin adding other festivals to the forum, with each having their own little sections for discussion. We’d like this forum to become a sort of “catch all” for informal festival discussion, with room for pictures too!! If you’d like a festival added, please contact one of the Admins with the basic information and we’ll do what we can, as soon as we can, to get it all set up!

We request that you not only write posts, but READ all posts with an open mind, and remember…..it’s better to ASK what someone meant, than to attack for what you THINK they meant! There will be NO blatant attacks allowed on the forum and the offending members will be dealt with accordingly. This includes flaming on any level and just being down right mean!

Remember…..we’re here to have some fun talking about MUSIC festivals!! So let’s all be friendly, happy, and well….GIDDY OVER THE MUSIC!!!

Progress and New Features

Whew! What a busy and exciting couple of days we've had! The conversion to the new site has gone very well, but we haven't rested much as we continue to come up with new ideas and plow ahead. We're all lucky to be current users of this site because, as happy as we are with the recent changes, this site is currently the worst that it will ever be. Nothing but good things are ahead!

You may have noticed that we have added a few new features. Below is a summary of what's new.

Front Page: The front page you see here is now for administrative announcements and news. Information will be posted here that you may need to know.
Links Bar (Above): The links bar above is used to navigate the site. The Forum link will take you to the forum that you are familiar with, and the Gallery link will take you to the New Gallery Section (See below).
Blocks Panel (Left): The panel on the left contains useful information, like a search box, Recent Topics, a Random Image Rotator, and User Info.
Gallery: A new and very useful feature of the site is the Gallery section. Every registered user now has their own image gallery where they can upload Merlefest pictures, as well as view, comment on, and rate the pictures of others. To get started using it, just click on 'Gallery', then 'My Gallery' at the top of the page, and 'Add Category'. Give the new category a name and add images. Other users will be able to view and comment on your images. If you'd like to browse the galleries of other users, click 'Gallery' and then 'Member Galleries'
